Robert Ferguson received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Maine School of Law in 1963.  A Sanford native, he has been practicing in Springvale ever since.

Robert has been a fixture in the local community since starting his practice, having served as board president of Goodall Hospital and the Springvale Public Library.  He has been a member of the Sanford-Springvale Rotary Club since 1963 where he served as Club Secretary for 25 years.

Robert has traditionally had a general practice, avoiding criminal law matters and extensive litigation.  He currently focuses on servicing his long standing clients, estate planning and probate, real estate transactions and tax return preparation.

He is proud to be mentoring his children, Donna Johnson and David Ferguson as they continue serving the Sanford/Springvale Community.

Donna Johnson started working at the Firm as a secretary while still in high school.  She graduated from the University of New Hampshire Magna Cum Laude in 1992 as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and like Robert attended the University of Maine School of Law where she graduated with honors in 1995.

Robert and Donna formalized their partnership in 1995, with the creation of Ferguson & Johnson, P.A.  Donna has focused her practice on real estate transactions, landlord/tenant issues and family law.  In addition to representing clients during divorce, Donna is also a court recognized Guardian Ad Litem for both children and elderly persons.

Donna serves the Sanford/Springvale community by serving on the Board of Directors of the Springvale Public Library and the Sanford-Springvale YMCA, and Financial Secretary of the First Baptist Church of Springvale since 1996.

David Ferguson received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1994 and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law with honors in 1998.  After law school David worked for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in the Baltimore Maryland field office for four years.  He obtained his Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Baltimore in 2000.

David joined Ferguson & Johnson, P.A. in 2002 and has focused his practice on tax law, estate planning, real estate transactions and business law.

Like his father and sister, David has served the community by serving on the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Club of Sanford, the Maine School of Science and Mathamatics, and is legal advisor to numerous local non-profits.
